Initiatives staff supporting the New Partners Initiatives Technical Assistance Project:
Hellen K. Chilande, M.B.A., Organizational Development Specialist 
Hellen Chilande serves as an Organization Development Specialist with the regional New Partners Initiative Technical Assistance (NuPITA) project based in Nairobi, Kenya. Ms. Chilande is responsible for providing capacity building technical assistance to USAID’s Round 2 and Round 3 NPI grantees.
Ms. Chilande has more than ten years experience in the field of capacity building for indigenous and international civil society organizations. She has built her expertise in organizational development by managing institutional strengthening portfolios in national programs serving as an organizational development technical advisory to large international organizations in African and western countries. In addition, she has extensive experience working in private sector corporate social responsibility programming; leadership development and governance; curriculum development; resource mobilisation; communications; partnership development; volunteer management and promotion of philanthropy. Ms. Chilande’s work to build and strengthen NGO networks has been instrumental in developing national standards of competence and sustainability for NGOs in Kenya.
