Ghana Quality Health Partners (QHP)

The QHP project (2004–2009) is a USAID-funded project designed to improve the health equity in Ghana by increasing the quality of health services in some of the most deprived districts in the country. As a subcontractor to EngenderHealth, Initiatives is providing technical assistance to support the strengthening of human resources management in the public health sector.

With our technical support, the project is assisting the Ghana Ministry of Health to develop clearer human resources policies for the health sector, helping Ghana Health Services revise and scale-up a staff performance appraisal system, and assisting with the further development of specific and actionable job descriptions for health service managers and health service delivery staff.
