Position Summary
The Program Officer is responsible for providing technical assistance and managerial support to Initiatives’ field programs in Africa, the Caribbean and the Middle East. The Program Officer will lead and coordinate support for project implementation including organizational development, quality improvement, human resources management, monitoring and evaluation and capacity building for government and non-governmental organizations. The Program Officer will contribute to overall project management, proposal development, reporting and communications with donors, local partners and stakeholders. Overseas travel required.

Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in public health or related field
- Minimum 7-9 years of relevant management and supervisory experience
- At least three years of experience in health program management including administration, human resource management, and reporting
- US citizenship/permanent resident status
Required Skills and Abilities
- Experience in managing and supporting PEPFAR-funded projects
- Fluency in English
- Foreign language skills (Spanish or French ideal)
