Senior Technical Advisor: Health Systems
Position Summary
The Senior Technical Advisor is responsible for providing technical assistance and managerial support to Initiatives’ field programs in Africa, the Caribbean and the Middle East. The Advisor’s activities will focus on building management and programmatic capacity of non-governmental and government organizations and include leading teams to conduct organizational strengthening activities, guiding quality improvement programs, developing human resources management systems and designing monitoring and evaluation processes. The Advisor will also join Initiatives’ senior management team in contributing to overall portfolio management decisions, business development and proposal development. Overseas travel is required.

Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in public health or related field
- Minimum 7-9 years of relevant management and supervisory experience
- At least 5 years of experience providing technical support in the areas of organizational development, human resource management, and monitoring and evaluation
- US citizenship/permanent resident status
Required Skills and Abilities
- Experience in managing and supporting PEPFAR-funded projects
- Fluency in English
- Foreign language skills (French ideal)
- Experience in leading technical teams
